Membership
Membership with "Shifting Gears" is easy and it's free! We simply ask you to read & complete our Membership/Waiver Form which you can download at the right of this page & email or mail it to Cheri. My contact information is listed below. To join, complete the waiver, bring it with you & show up for any of our rides listed on the "Home Page". Visit this site often for updates. Once you are a member, we will add you to our email list, send you a member directory & contact you with updates...Email a photo of you & your bike to Cheri so it can be posted on our website. Our members take turns leading & planning the rides we go on. If you see a name listed behind a ride that means you are leading that ride. Rides are planned during our first two meetings before the summer riding season begins.
We don't wear colors or patches. We don't collect fees or donations. We don't do any fundraising, although we do ride on numerous fundraiser rides sponsored by other organizations. We mainly ride & have fun. Many of our members are already involved in fundraisers & charities so membership in "Shifting Gears" is geared towards fun.
We ask that you are responsible on your motorcycle & safe. You ride at your own risk. Please click on the Minnesota Laws & Regulations to the right to review the document. We appreciate it if you don't drink excessively & don't do drugs while riding with members of "Shifting Gears".
